Sorry I haven't blogged in a while. I've either been out or too busy with our game. Well we are checking out the game plans for the student at Eastern Greenbrier Middle. I checked out the team Ryan's Robotic Robots. They have a great concept for their game, I was impressed. Their game is based on PEMDAS and it concentrates on how you should preserve water. A great game idea indeed. PEMDAS is a topic in math that kids struggle with, mainly because they work it out in the wrong order. If I was to give them any advise I would say make it more appealing, catch the players eye. For instance, when you get a question right you can earn points throughout the game, and after so many points you either earn a certificate for your score or get to watch a video of the ocean, things like that. Other than that this team is great, they have their concept down and their focus is clear. Well I better get back to work. I'll post again soon.
